Beautiful Bouquets cake decorating class - large roses, layered lifelike flowers - Le Beau Cake

This class will show you how to make stunning, life-like flower bouquets used by Le Beau Cake. Learn how to make great-looking cake decorations consisting of a variety of beautiful flower bouquets.

Beautiful Bouquets class

11 - 4:30pm, £80

This class will teach you how to make a beautiful bouquet of flowers using florist paste. You will learn how to work with the paste to create beautiful, long-lasting flowers. You will also learn how and where to apply lustre dusts to your flowers to achieve the most striking effects, and how to bring them all together to create an eye-catching display. You can then go on to use these skills to create your own flowers, to give them as gifts, to use them as beautiful cake topper arrangements, or to teach people as a new side to your own creative business.

You will learn how to make:

  • A beautiful large rose and several 'smaller bud' roses
  • A 'ranunculus' type of flower by using a clever layering technique
  • A beautiful layered 'peony' type of flower
  • Hydrangea flowers
  • Several other smaller 'filler flowers' to enhance your bouquet

You will be taught lots of clever techniques and some of Le Beau Cake's original methods for making some of the flowers. All of the equipment is provided for you on the day and you will be given full details of the equipment used and recommended stockists so you can put all you have learnt into practice.

You will go home at the end of the day with a beautiful bouquet of handmade flowers and the knowledge of how to make many more!

You will spend the day with up to 4 other people and will go home delighted with what you have achieved. You will also have plenty of opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

This class is held in Hertford, Hertfordshire from 11am to 4:30pm. Ample free parking is available. The nearest mainline train station is Hertford East. There will be a maximum of 5 people at each class. Refreshments will be served. Please also bring your own lunch.

The class is suitable for students at all levels.
