Chocolate Cupcakes class - Le Beau Cake

The cupcake class where everything is made from chocolate! Create, make and embellish your very own delicious chocolate cupcakes. Learn how to make your own chocolate decorations and impress chocolate lovers everywhere!

Chocolate Cupcakes Class

11 - 4:30pm, £90

In this class, you will work with different types of chocolate, ranging from modelling chocolate through to ganache. You will have 12 gorgeous, rich chocolate cupcakes to work with and will learn lots of clever techniques for decorating and 'wrapping' your cupcakes to give them a different, unique finish.

You will spend the day surrounded by the aroma of chocolate, so naturally it will be irresistable not to sample some of the gorgeous chocolate you will be working with throughout the day!

This is a great class to attend if you adore everything chocolate, want to learn to make 'wrapped' cupcakes, or to give as a gift to someone special.

During the class, you will be taught how to:

  • Make a chocolate ganache
  • Make your own chocolate modelling paste
  • Add chocolate to your butter cream to get the best finish
  • Make large chocolate roses, chocolate buttons, flowers and more
  • Make your own unique chocolate patterns and designs using dots, stripes, hearts and more
  • You will learn how to 'paint' with gold lustre's onto chocolate fondant to create your own designs
  • Learn our tips and tricks to 'wrap' your cakes in smooth chocolate fondant to create a different unique finish using embossing and other clever techniques

You will take home with you:

  • 12 beautiful chocolate cupcakes decorated by you
  • the Le Beau Cake gorgeous chocolate cupcake recipe for you to try at home
  • details of the equipment used and recommended stockists, so you can put all you have learnt into practice!

This class is suitable for students at all levels. All of the equipment is provided for you, but please bring an apron, notebook and pen. Please also bring your own lunch.

The class is held in Hertford, Hertfordshire from 11am to 4:30pm. Ample free parking is available. The nearest mainline train station is Hertford East. There will be a maximum of 5 people at each class. Refreshments will be served. Please also bring your own lunch.

Our classes owe part of their success to the small group sizes and our excellent references from happy customers and class participants. We kindly ask that you double-check your availability before booking a specific date. We are unable to offer a refund for cancellation of a class. In the unlikely event that a class is cancelled by us, a full refund will be given.
