Beautiful Flowers cupcake class - stunning roses and floral decorations - Le Beau Cake

This class will show you how to make gorgeous, delicate, life-like roses, flowers and other pretty decorations and effects used on Le Beau Cake cupcakes. A great way to learn some simple techniques that yield amazing results, and a superb gift too.

Beautiful Flowers class

11am - 4:30pm, £90

In this class you will be taught how to make beautiful, delicate, 'lifelike' flowers (as pictured here) using florist paste, and how to work with florist paste to achieve the best results.

  • You will be shown how and when to use lustre powders and glitters to give 'depth' to your flowers and clever ways to make them really stand out!
  • You will be taught how to make a stunning 'lifelike' rose
  • You will learn which cutters, embossers and veining tools are used to create the various pretty decorations and effects that Le Beau Cake uses
  • You will learn how to make the smaller beautiful roses with a simple, easily-learnt technique
  • You will be shown clever ways in which to colour match your designs and flowers and how to use edible food pastes to their best effect
  • Learn how to cover your cupcakes in buttercream and get a smooth, even finish in preparation for a fondant top, and how to achieve a flawless finish
  • You will also be shown how to create gorgeous 'piped' roses using buttercream and learn which nozzles you need to use to achieve them

You will spend the day with up to 4 other people and will go home delighted with what you have achieved. You will also have plenty of opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

You will take home with you:

  • The Le Beau Cake recipe for you to try at home
  • A beautiful large 'lifelike' rose and the knowledge of how to make more
  • 12 beautifully decorated cupcakes
  • Details of the equipment used and recommended stockists, so you can put all you have learnt into practice!

This class is held in Hertford, Hertfordshire from 11am to 4:30pm. Ample free parking is available. The nearest mainline train station is Hertford East. There will be a maximum of 5 people at each class. Refreshments will be served. Please also bring your own lunch.

The class is suitable for students at all levels.
