Sugar Paste and Buttercream cupcake class - ideal for beginners - Le Beau Cake

Learn how to make and decorate beautiful cupcakes using the Le Beau Cake recipe. The class starts with a demonstration of baking cupcakes from scratch, and shows you the best ingredients to use so that you always produce delicious, moist cupcakes.
You will learn how to make smooth buttercream, and will be taught how to pipe beautiful rose swirls and other decorations. We will then move onto working with sugar paste to make some simple but striking flowers using cutters. You will also be shown how to make small handmade roses using Le Beau Cake's simple and effective technique. We will also show you how to cover your cupcakes in fondant, and produce a flawless top.
We will share with you lots of hints and tips along the way, and questions are invited!
You will then have lots of time to practise all you have learnt, and to decorate 12 of your own cupcakes to take home with you.
This class is suitable for beginners. All of the equipment is provided for you, but please bring an apron, notebook and pen. Refreshments will be served. Please also bring your own lunch.
This class is held in Hertford, Hertfordshire from 11:30am - 4:30pm. Ample free parking is available. The nearest mainline train station is Hertford East. There will be a maximum of 5 people at each class.
